LAFD Community Safety Fair – Kids Bike Skills Workshop

We are excited to bring our Kids Bike Skills Workshop to the Community Safety Fair, hosted by the LAFD South and Councilman Joe Buscaino. Come learn about disaster preparedness, how to perform CPR, and join us for our Kids Bike Skills Workshop. There will be free smoke detectors, car seat checks, and FREE LUNCH for participants (first-come, first-serve, limited quantity)! Join us for a fun morning of learning how to bike safely in your community. All ages welcome!

- Helmet fitting
- Recognizing traffic signals and stop signs
- Proper starting and stopping techniques
- How to avoid hazards
- Yielding and bike control
Fun for all ages. Tricycles, training wheels and scooters welcome too!
Some bikes and helmets will be available for those without.
