Walk ‘n Rollers Safety Vest

Adults: $15 (S/M; L/XL); Youth one size fits all (after your donation is received, we will contact you for sizing).

In the Spring of 2020, at the start of the COVID shutdown, we discovered there are lots of kids without bikes and without the resources to purchase one. We immediately started collecting and repairing used bicycles. To date, we have-redistributed over 180 bikes. During the Safer at Home orders, this was largely done on the driveway of our executive director’s home and with the help of volunteer mechanics. Since, we have been able to secure permanent fixtures to house bikes awaiting repair or pickup, tools and supplies and a space for our bike build days. We are currently seeking funding to expand the program to include additional parts and supplies, seek and build curriculum and classes for our student volunteers. Please consider a donation today!

Your donation will help us provide outreach and education to schools aimed at encouraging more kids to walk and bike to school and purchase much needed equipment to help our programs continue to be the very best! Our programs not only help kids be more active and reduce traffic and pollution at school sites, but teach life long lessons, like responsibility, safety and good decision making.

How your donations help:

  • Kids Bike Skills Workshop: $2,500
  • Walk & Roll Festival: $3,500
  • Developing a year-long Walk-Bike to School Program: $7,500
  • Community bike repair day: $2,500

Note: Every school and each event is different, based on the size and scope of our partners abilities.
