EMLS SILVER SNEAKER TROPHY
Way to go El Marino! Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun and showed up for our Walk ‘n Roll Wednesday in February. We had a record turnout with over 160 kids! Congratulations ot Sra Hebert’s class for being the firs recipient of the Silver Sneaker Trophy. The kids had a great time and everyone got a little exercise.

Locations:
- US Bank (Sepuveda/Sawtelle)
- Sawtelle Bridge at Culver Drive
We’ll meet at 8:00 and leave at 8:15. If you can’t join us at the start, meet us along the way:
US Bank: We’ll leave at 8:15, walk down Sawtelle to Segrell and turn left to Berryman. Then we take Berryman to the school passing Culver Park (8:20), Patom (8:25), and Ryandale (8:30) along the way. (easy parking in bank’s parking lot)
The Bridge will meet at 8:10 and leave at 8:15 heading down Sawtelle to McDonald, turn right to Purdue (8:20), left to the school passing Woolford (8:25) and (Orville (8:30) along the way. (easy parking along Culver Drive)
Both groups will meet in front of the school for a brief ceremony and instructions for locking up bikes.

Meet a walking school bus or bike train and join the fun!
What’s a walking school bus? Basically a bunch of people – kids and adults alike – walking to school together. We start from a specific location and pick people up along the way. This way we are all walking and /or biking together. Walking schoolbuses and bike trains are a fun way for kids to get a little more exercise and have some fun getting to school.
Pressed for time? No problem. Feel free to drop your children with the group and we’ll make sure they get to school on time. If they are shy, encourage one of their friends to do the same.
