Our FREE Kids Bike Skills Workshop at Goethe International Charter School was a huge success!
96 children took part in this after school workshop in preparation for CicLAvia.
Our Bike Skills Workshops teach essential bicycle and pedestrian safety skills in a fun and engaging
environment. Lead by certified cycling instructors, the workshops teaches:
- Bike Safety Checking
- Helmet fitting
- Recognizing traffic signals
and stop signs - Proper starting and stopping techniques
- How to avoid hazards
- Yielding and bike control
Fun for all ages. Tricycles, training wheels and scooters welcome too! PLUS Goody bags for Workshop participants.
Helmets are required for all riders. Bikes and helmets will be made available for those without.
