Bike Club

Welcome to the Westside Bike Club, the only teen-specific bike workshop on the Westside of Los Angeles.

We are excited to offer a series of workshops designed to help teens share their enthusiasm for bikes, practice their bike skills and learn bike repair basics, all while having fun and meeting new friends.

Hosted at the Culver-Palms YMCA, the workshops will be conducted both indoors and outside. Each workshop will be a little different but always focused on helping the kids expand their knowledge of all things bikes!

Students will have opportunities to learn about bike safety and bike repair, join group rides and earn volunteer hours.

Bike Safety:
Helmet safety and fitting
Rules of the road
Route planning
Group ride basics

Bike Repair:
Bike anatomy
Confidence with tools and parts
Changing inner tubes
Chain maintenance
Brake and gear adjustments

Earn-a-Bike + Community Service Hours
