Attention Student Artists!
Walk ’n Rollers is looking for student teams to customize bikes live during our anniversary celebration.
Each team will receive $100!
2022 marks our 10th anniversary and we are celebrating March 19 at The Wende Museum in Culver City.
Apply for an opportunity to customize a bike to express the theme of car-free mobility and earn $100!
Using words, graphics, shapes and patterns, your concept should express life without cars.
We are looking for creative teams from area high schools. Each team will be provided with one used bike, stripped down to essentials and painted white – a blank canvas for you to create! Teams will have 4 hours to create their designs, live, during the celebration. Teams can be 1-4 members.
Materials provided: Paint pens, tape, wire, stickers. (Only provided materials can be used)
To apply:
• Submit an application online with your creative design by March 4. One application/team.
• Teams will be selected by March 9.
• Completed bikes will be exhibited locally and returned to each team’s school for display.
• Students must be available to attend the celebration at The Wende Museum.
• Each selected team will receive $100

Time: 11 am – 4 pm (artwork will need to be completed by 3 pm)
