Sophie Nenner

Sophie Nenner joined the Board in 2020. She brings a diverse and global perspective with over twenty years of experience in the electric vehicle and bicycle industry: she created and led businesses – including one of the first e-bike shop in Paris – worked in IT, finance, and logistic departments within companies from various sectors in France, Spain, Argentina, and in the United States which has provided her with a diverse and broad professional background. As the General Manager of Metro Bike Share in Los Angeles since its launch in 2016, she leads bike share operations for Bicycle Transit Systems and works closely with LA Metro and City of LA as well as other jurisdictions across LA County. Sophie is also a North America Bikeshare and Scootershare Association (NABSA) Board Member. Being on the Board of Walk n’ Rollers gives her the opportunity to take action and contribute to the mission of developing active transportation throughout the LA region whether by leading a walking to school bus or by supporting and educating more people in the community to feel more comfortable biking in urban environments. Sophie truly believes that walking and biking more, and as alternative transportation modes to cars, is key to get healthier and help the city be healthier.
