DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Culver City Pride Ride 2026! \nWalk ‘n Rollers joins Bike Culver City to host this joyous ride around the streets of Culver City in celebration of Pride Month. \nStarting at Ivy Station and ending at the Culver City Pride Festival\, this family-friendly ride is one of the biggest Pride Rides in Los Angeles County. \nRegistration is free. Signed waivers will be required for each rider. Please register each rider individually. \nThis ride is approximately 6 miles in length on city streets. This is not a learn-to-ride event. All riders must be able to ride 6 miles on their own or with an adult on a bike made for passengers (bike seat\, trailer\, tag-a-long for example) Trainings wheels\, kids tricycles and balance bikes are NOT acceptable for this ride.. \nPlease be sure to bring a bike in good working order\, helmet – REQUIRED – water and snacks. \nVolunteers Needed: We are seeking ride marshals and registration volunteers to support this ride. If you are interested\, please sign up HERE and be prepared for a pre-ride marshals meetup 2 weeks prior to the ride and a zoom call for logistics the week of the ride.

DESCRIPTION:Smart Cycling Class\nThis comprehensive interactive class is tailored for cyclists interested in improving their riding skills and knowledge and take the first step toward becoming a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) through the League of American Bicyclists. Participants must be able to ride their bike continuously for a minimum of 30 minutes. Ages 18+ only. (NOTE: this is not a Learn to Ride class).  \nWhat to Bring: Please bring a bike in good working order\, helmet (if you have one. If not\, you will receive a new helmet)\, water and snacks. Wear comfortable clothing\, including closed toed shoes\, and sunscreen. \nContent Covered: Presentation/discussion on bike safety including bike selection and fit\, helmet safety\, rules of the road\, emergency maneuvers and best practices for riding with and without bike infrastructure. Plus on-bike skills drills\, and short group ride. There is an optional Smart Cycling Exam for those considering pursuing LCI status through the League of American Bicyclists. \n[OPTIONAL] You may register and complete the lecture component of the class on The League of American Bicyclists website and join this workshop for the on-bike skills course and group ride at 11:00am. \nRegistration is free and each participant will receive a free helmet\, lock\, and light set!  \nEach participant must register separately. DESCRIPTION:Safe Cycling Workshop\nThis free workshop is for riders of all levels to learn and practice safe cycling skills together\, with in-class and on-bike components. \nRiders of all levels are welcome\, from experienced commuters looking to learn the rules of the road to families seeking safe tips for navigating their communities. \nThis workshop includes in-class instruction\, on bike skills lessons and a short group ride that will include some hills. \nParticipants will receive a free helmet\, bike lock and \n lights! \nWhat to Bring: Please bring a bike in good working order\, sunscreen\, water and snacks. Wear comfortable clothing\, including closed toed shoes. \nNOTE: This is not a learn to ride class. Participants will be expected to ride their bikes continuously for up to 30 minutes. \nWhen: Sunday\, August 30\, 2026 \nTime: 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. \nLocation: Helms Design District\, 8800 Venice Blvd\, Los Angeles\, CA 90034. Meet under the Helms sign at the corner of Venice Blvd. and Helms Ave. The workshop will take place in the patio garden at the East end of the parking lot\, near Hutchinson Ave. \nRegistration is free. DESCRIPTION:Our annual Donut Ride + Fundraiser is back! \nThis fun\, 27 mile adventure visits 4 local donut shops free donuts*. The more you donate\, the more donuts you get! \nBring a bike in good working order\, helmet\, water and sunscreen (pro tip – bring containers for the extra doughnuts – your family will thank you). \nPlease arrive by 8:45 and be ready to roll at 9:00 am \nHelmets and signed waiver are required of all riders. \nDoughnut Shops: SK Donut\, Kettle Glazed\, Sidecar\, Donut Friend \nCan’t make the ride? No problem! Please consider a donation to support our programs.
