Cycling Instructors
Our growing organization is seeking to hire Bicycle Safety Instructors to work on Safe Routes to School programming with schools throughout the Los Angeles area.
We are seeking additional cycling instructors to work at our Kids Bike Skills Workshops and Courses. Instructors will demonstrate safety essentials like helmet fitting, starting/stopping, scanning/signaling and hazard avoidance and lead kids on group rides. These are contract, on demand positions, often on weekends. Rates: $35/hr (LCI), $25/hr (non-LCI).
Previous experience as an LCI (League Cycling Instructor) is preferred, but not required, however, our workshops count towards your annual teaching requirements. Not an LCI? That’s ok too – you can still qualify by attending one of our Smart Cycling Classes.
