We love this event! We get an opportunity to help so many children learn essential bike and pedestrian safety skills in the biggest street party in Los Angeles. The route stretches from East LA to Chinatown and beyond so be sure to stop by with your kids and have some fun. We’ll be at the East LA Hub, at the Civic Center, right off the Gold Line Station.

We took advantage of the over 150,000 riders CicLAvia attracted to reinforce our core message that when we encourage children to bike and walk to school, they should be taught to do so safely and responsibly. The intent is to have fun with the kids but also make sure they – and their parents – ride away with important information, such as how to properly wear and fit their helmet and how to control their bike.
