First Annual Alex Baum Memorial Kids Ride
We are so excited to host the Kids Ride as part of the Volkswagen City of Angels Fun Ride. The Kids Ride is an awesome good time for children ages 4-11. Bring your trike, training wheels or 2 wheeler and have a go! The kids will also have an opportunity to make their own race bib and race plate too! Registration is free but the fun is priceless.
Alex Baum was a tremendous cycling advocate and friend to all cyclists. We are thrilled to present a Kids Ride in his honor at the Volkswagen City of Angels Fun Ride.
The Kids Ride ride will feature

- Kids activities and crafts
We encourage parents to make posters and cheer your kids on! The kids will have so much fun riding on their own course!
Join us for a day of family fun in support of a great cause. Bring your blanket and beach chairs and enjoy the music, awesome raffle and community booths. (note: lunch will be available for purchase)

For over 18 years, the Volkswagen City of Angeles Fun Ride has raised funds for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, UCLA’s blood donor program and other children’s and bicycle advocacy charities. Our fundraising efforts helped purchase the first bloodmobile for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, a new box truck for the UCLA Blood & Platelet Donor Center UCLA Hospital’s Blood & Platelet Donor Center and current efforts are supporting the purchase of a new, larger and much needed bloodmobile.
The Volkswagen City of Angeles Fun Ride has routes for all ride levels. Registration includes lunch and a raffle. (Extra raffle tickets and lunch tickets are available for purchase) Please visit coafunride.com for details
